BackTable Launches Official Content Licensing Program for Medical Publishers & AI Developers

BackTable, the leading podcast network for surgical subspecialists, today announced the launch of the BackTable Content Licensing Program, creating a formal pathway for third-party partners to license and integrate BackTable’s peer-to-peer medical content into their own platforms and workflows.
Through the program, eligible partners may license BackTable content for two primary purposes:
- Publishing rights: integrating BackTable content into third-party websites, apps, newsletters, and clinician portals.
- AI/ML training rights: incorporating BackTable’s physician-led insights into large language models and other machine learning systems.

BackTable emphasizes that its content has always required explicit permission for any outside use. Content could not be published on third-party media properties or leveraged for algorithm training without BackTable’s authorization. The new licensing program provides an official channel for organizations seeking to collaborate and expand access in a compliant manner.
