BackTable has officially announced the BackTable Cardiology Podcast, set to launch in the latter half of 2025. Founder and CEO Dr. Aaron Fritts sees the new Cardiology show as a natural next step for the leading medical podcast network, which hosts shows for oncologists, urologists, otolaryngologists, OBGYNs, and several other specialties.
“The BackTable Vascular and Interventional show has hosted many of our interventional cardiology colleagues over the years, providing leading insights and expert guidance on pulmonary embolism, peripheral artery disease, and venous interventions. With the addition of BackTable Cardiology, we’re creating a space where clinical cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and cardiac surgeons can focus on the heart and discuss the full spectrum of cardiovascular care.”
To start, BackTable Cardiology episodes will be hosted by interventional cardiologists Dr. Sameh Sayfo and Dr. Hady Lichaa, bringing a wealth of knowledge, hands-on experience, podcasting enthusiasm, and a network of cardiologist contributors to the new show.
